I guess you are fresher, well let me come to the point average of 1 lac graduate output in a year from VTU. They don't care who you are, what you are studying they need fees per candidate. I must say this compare to other states VTU is far better in terms of fees.
Come to your problem, you are taking VTU seriously just chill buddy there is nothing in it first 2 sem it feels like hell, once you get to know how to clear and score the subject you will enjoy it for sure.
Let me give you some tips
- Be regular to the classes
- Maintain good marks avg 20 in your internals
- Do not miss labs
VTU cares about its students but we have students who need engineering degrees without doing anything. VTU has year back system which makes it an odd one out of other state universities.
The year-back system is good. The quality of the degree is higher since its filters the students who are not capable of completing the degree. They still have a chance to pursue their degree from the next academic year.
The rules make sense, I mean, you cannot call a person having more than 5 backlogs an engineer. If you allow everyone to go further even after so many backlogs then you get the same quality of work done in the future. As we are experiencing the potholes in Bangalore, which have taken more than 37 lives. We have to waterlog on all roads when it rains, god knows who gave them the engineering degree.
